Sustainable Development Goal and Child led Voluntary Local Review Report

Child led voluntary local review was conducted in different municipality of all seven provinces. National Child Advocate Council member led the VLR in their locality. The community level consultations was conducted in all seven provinces, 10 districts and 10 municipalities. The municipalities that VLR had conducted was  Deumail Municipality and Biratnagar Municipality at Koshi Province, Mithila Municipality and Sambhunath Municipality at Madesh Province, Kawasoti Municipality and Beni Municipality at Gandaki Province, Gulariya Municipality and Krishnapur Municipality at Sudurpaschim Province, Birendranagar Municipality at Karnali Municipality including Valley based consultation in Kathmandu. During the consultations all the children those who are participate the consultations were orient about the SDGs and VNR. They were asked to discuss on the problems and issues they faced or observed in their family and community. The way of expressing the reality of children issues through story, poem, drawing, drama, song, and essay. Collected information regarding to children issues was brought to valid in National Validation Workshop to prepare the final report of Child Led VNR report. The collected information from VLR helps to conclude the insightful input of children from local level to national level. Children express the issues related to SDGs and Child rights.
