Children’s Manifesto for the House of Representatives Election 2082

Ahead of the House of Representatives Election 2082, on 6 February 2026, Consortium Nepal supported the National Child Advocate Council (NCAC) in leading a child-led advocacy campaign to ensure that children’s rights were reflected in the election manifestos of political parties. Representing children from all seven provinces, NCAC developed and presented a Children’s Manifesto that highlighted key priorities across child survival, development, protection, and participation. The manifesto called for stronger commitments to quality education, healthcare, nutrition, child protection, climate resilience, disability inclusion, digital safety, meaningful child participation, and increased investment in child-friendly governance. Through this campaign, children collectively amplified their voices and urged political parties to prioritize children’s rights by incorporating their recommendations into election commitments and national development agendas.
