The strength of Consortium lies in the Commitment of the membership to active cooperation and coordination, would expect members all times to be active, professional, responsible, and constructive. Initial and continued membership of the Consortium is depended on the fulfillment of,

C. Qualification as a positive contributor to the Consortium
Applicants should seek full membership
Associate membership would be conferred upon new applicants for a period of 6 months gap to know the applicants and to allow interaction and development of relationship before full membership is conferred. Membership of the Consortium does not preclude membership of consortia, for a or network of different activities.
Formal membership criteria
Membership would be opened to:
- Organizations and individual who both can bring something to the Consortium as well as draw from Consortium, the Principle of contribution to Consortium activity is paramount
- Organizations and individuals who are willing to commit to the Code of Conduct and agreed to avoid by the Article of Association
- Organizations and individuals who can regularly attend in person and maintain continuity of input
- And who can contribute the membership
- Registration with Social Welfare Council or appropriate line Ministries will be required for INGOs but will not be necessary for NGOs
Procedural Steps:
Potential members complete an application form and provide details of their operations as regards children’s clubs to share with other members. The principle behind this is a commitment to the Consortium, and a sharing of relevant information which can contribute to the purpose of the Consortium.

C. Associate Membership
Rights and obligations of Members
- Full members and associate members have rights to raise issues, provide comments and offer recommendations on all matters relevant to the activities and operation of the Consortium.
- They would receive on a regular basis, all mailing and reports for general distribution, and have ready access to all general information kept on file at the secretariat.
- Only full members would have the right to vote and be elected to the steering committee.
- Full members would pay a membership fees as may be determined by GA
Discontinuance of Membership
- Membership or associate membership would be discontinued when,
- The members or associate members informs in writing of its intension to withdraw.
- The Consortium dissolved
- GA decided by a two third majority that the activities of the agencies are in contradictions of the Article of Association and detrimental to the aims and purpose of the Consortium
- A member is in arrears of payment of membership dues
- A member or associate member has failed to attend more than 2 consecutive meetings of the GA
- Member shows evidence that they are either unwilling or unable to attend Consortium’s meeting.
